Mechanical pencils. They’re beautiful and I love them! This page is meant for me to show my collection and list the pencils I want to get at some point in the future (and also to express my love for these beautiful writing utensils)!
Why mechanical pencils?
I still think the pencil is superior to the pen. While I love pens, don’t get me wrong (I have my own mini collection of them!), I largely prefer pencils over pens. I believe in mistakes, that making mistakes is crucial to not only learning, but also growing as an individual. Pens force you to be perfect; pencils don’t! As per why mechanical over wooden, I just like the feel of mechanical pencils, and their practicality.

My Favorites
Truth be told, I don’t really have favorites. It’s hard to choose which ones I’d consider my “favorite.” There are just a lot of really good options, and I love all my pencils equally! That said, I do have a strong liking for the Tombow Zoom 505 due to both its design, but also just because it has the weight and feel of a pen without being a pen. Its grip is also decent. That said, I love all my pencils equally!!
